IUL Specialist

“When the 3 Dimensions work together, clients gain more than wealth — they gain clarity, resilience, and the confidence to lead their families and businesses well.” – Vickie J. Derrick

Helping illuminate a path of hope by teaching sound principles has been a hallmark of Vickie J. Derrick’s career.

With a master’s degree in education, an educational specialist degree in instructional design, several teaching certifications, and work in doctoral study and educational research, Vickie’s years in education were celebrated with a Teacher of the Year award and promotion to academic coach, mentoring educators and leading instructional improvement across multiple grade levels.

She’s also an active community speaker, educator, and entrepreneur, inspiring others to rise beyond circumstance through learning, responsibility, and intentional planning.

Today, she applies her research-based instructional design principles to her work in insurance — helping clients understand complex strategies so they can make confident, informed decisions.

As an example of her dedication to finding solutions for her clients, one of her favorite professional moments came in helping a family with a special needs daughter open an Indexed Universal Life policy to be able to access tax-free, penalty-free funds to help with her care — while protecting their money from market downturns.

Her personal history has also shaped her work in life insurance. Losing both parents at pivotal times in her childhood and young adulthood, she learned early on that the death benefit can provide much-needed financial stability at an otherwise difficult time.

Married with three adult children and three grandchildren, Vickie’s already accomplished much throughout her life, but she still has a few things on her bucket list.

Along with writing a novel, she also loves to travel (having visited Europe twice), and she’d like to visit the Holy Land and take her entire family on a long Hawaiian getaway.
